1Jehová es mi luz y mi salvación; ¿de quién temeré? Jehová es la fortaleza de mi vida; ¿de quién he de atemorizarme?

2Cuando se juntaron contra mí los malignos, mis angustiadores y mis enemigos, Para comer mis carnes, ellos tropezaron y cayeron.

3Aunque un ejército acampe contra mí, No temerá mi corazón; Aunque contra mí se levante guerra, Yo estaré confiado.

4Una cosa he demandado a Jehová, esta buscaré; Que esté yo en la casa de Jehová todos los días de mi vida, Para contemplar la hermosura de Jehová, y para inquirir en su templo.

5Porque él me esconderá en su tabernáculo en el día del mal; Me ocultará en lo reservado de su morada; Sobre una roca me pondrá en alto.

6Luego levantará mi cabeza sobre mis enemigos que me rodean, Y yo sacrificaré en su tabernáculo sacrificios de júbilo; Cantaré y entonaré alabanzas a Jehová.

7Oye, oh Jehová, mi voz con que a ti clamo; Ten misericordia de mí, y respóndeme.

8Mi corazón ha dicho de ti: Buscad mi rostro. Tu rostro buscaré, oh Jehová;

9No escondas tu rostro de mí. No apartes con ira a tu siervo; Mi ayuda has sido. No me dejes ni me desampares, Dios de mi salvación.

10Aunque mi padre y mi madre me dejaran, Con todo, Jehová me recogerá.

11Enséñame, oh Jehová, tu camino, Y guíame por senda de rectitud A causa de mis enemigos.

Ps 27 This psalm mixes two genres—a psalm of confidence (27:1-6) and an individual lament (27:7-14)—held together by the theme of longing for the Lord’s presence. The psalmist focuses on the Lord; his circumstances are secondary. The strength of the psalmist’s faith is expressed in his openness to the Lord’s instruction, timing, and priorities. 27:1-3 The psalmist acknowledges the Lord at the center of his life (27:1). Because of God’s presence, he engages his adversaries with confidence. They cannot intimidate him or penetrate his inner security. 27:1 Light expresses the Lord’s goodness (27:13; see 4:6; 23:6; 31:19; 38:10; 43:3; 56:13).
